Unable to use other wireless devices with belkin f5d7630 router

I recently purchased the above router for my parents. I installed it and it was working fine both on the pc and there were no problems using the ipod touch with it, however it was not a secure connection. When I have made the connection secure it will now not allow you to connect any other wireless device. Any suggestions?

Unable to configure my wireless belkin N150

As i understand you have a router provided by your ISP: MTNL, you need to configure the Belkin router in Dynamic mode and not in PPPoE. Then restart the devices by unplugging the power from MTNL router and Belkin. Wait for 20 secs, then power up MTNL router 1st, wait for all lights to get steady and finally power up the Belkin wireless router. Then you will find the modem and internet light lit up properly.
For any further clarifications, revert!

Thanks and regards,
Arvind

Wireless Network Reset - Belkin

If you are unable to connect your laptop wireless to your Belkin wireless access point/router, the easiest and fastest way to get going is to reset your router to the factory defaults. Open the working pc open internet explorer and type 192.168.1.2 in the webaddress bar. this will open your belkin router settings page. On the left choose wireless security. If it asks for a password leave the password box empty and just click submit. Choose Wpa Psk as the security method. The wireless key is in the box beside pre shard key: if you cant see it untick obsure key at the bottom. Type a password of your choice in this box. Take a note of this for future reference. Click apply at the bottom. Your wireless network is now secured with this key as the password. Any problems reply to this message

Belkin f5d8635-4 Router connection problems

Open the working pc open internet explorer and type 192.168.1.2 in the webaddress bar. this will open your belkin router settings page. On the left choose channel and ssid. If it asks for a password leave the password box empty and just click submit. The channel is the frequency your wireless network operates on. Some channels are more stable than others, but its just trial and error until you find the most stable for your area. Change your wireless channel to a different one (any channel is fine, personally 1,11 or 8 works best for me) and click apply changes. Hope this helps.

I have recently bought a Belkin Wireless Router and I am unable to connect to the Internet on my laptop. What do I need to do to connect my laptop to the internet using the Belkin Wireless router?

your Internet modem or router needs to be connected to the Belkin router's WAN port with an ethernet cable. You'll then need to configure the belkin's wireless settings, it's usually a very easy "follow the prompts" kind of setup.

Check all other wireless devices within the range of the router, cordless phones, cellular phones, etc.
Change the wireless channel on the router or possibly the other wireless devices.

2nd: check the Keep Alive setting in the router configuration if you have DSL. Set this accordingly
