Question about HP LaserJet 5550 Printer
Hp made me go though a month of paper samples untill they finally said "I have run tests on a 5550dn printer and have the same result as the samples you sent to our print lab." They will not fix or replace.. Come on guys its only 2 months old... and my case number is over a month old.... don't tell me I'm out $3000.00... They said.... "This issue follows the printer model and replacing it will not resolve your issue. I apologize for the amount of time it has taken to come to this conclusion." Any suggestion how to get the "Accurate Color" that they sold me on, come out of the printer? Are there any fixes out there... Just looking for The 4 color version of BLACK to print on cardstock...
If it's only 2 months old (3 now) and your case number is still unresolved, call HP directly and wade through their auto-answer system to the company directory. You're looking for a gentleman named Barry Tutt, he's the Great Lakes Regional Manager and VERY dedicated to customer satisfaction. Sound irate. DO *NOT* TELL HIM WHO GAVE YOU HIS NAME! Just say you got it from a former technician. If he can't get to the bottom of it, no one can. Let me know how it turns out!
