First thing you can try here is to remove the memory card from it and also the battery for about 5 minutes then put them back in if still the same, you can try to format the card and make sure before you do that you have already save a copy of those data....

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, if the content of the memory sticks have already been downloaded elsewhere, the HP435 has a function/feature that would "format" the memory. Performing a format would wipe the memory clean and prepare it for use of the HP 435.

Should this be not corrective and you have verified that the memory works in other cameras, device, elsewhere, then it is possible that the internal contact of the camera that provides connection to the memory may be in need of attention.

Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

    Hi again,

    Appreciate th quick postback.

Re "UNSUPPORTED CARDS", this could only indicate two (2) possibilities:

    • the memory stick/card is physically defective (most unlikely if they work in other devices); or

    • the memory stick's format has been corrupted. Try the format option as initially proposed.
    Cheers.

My kodak slice wont turn on anymore even after charging?Anybody?

Hello, The cold temps do have an effect on any type of battery, it is far cheaper to try a new battery that has been fully charged than to take the camera to a shop to be checked. All you will be out is the cost of the new battery.

I have a Nikon s550 that I cannot get it to zoom in very well. I would like to be able to zoom in close on my daughter as she plays softball.

Your camera has a 5X zoom which is not great at getting real close to players on a softball field. The new "super-zoom" cameras are better suited for that. You could try to move closer to her for better results.

Telephoto images

The D-435 has a 4x seamless digital zoom. Press the zoom button with the T on it and a zoom indicator will be displayed in the upper right corner of the LCD. The W represents a wider area of view as you zoom out, and the T represents telephoto as you zoom closer to the subject. images taken in the digital zoom may appear “noisy” or “grainy,” which is normal when using the digital zoom
