can you give me the model number of *********** board

  • Shayne Schecht May 11, 2010

What motherboard is it? Is it a custom built computer or one from one of the major manufacturers? If you need the CD for the drivers you can usually download them from the manufacturers website but without more info I can't tell you much more.
Feel free to ask me for more help once you have more information

You can get the important and your motherboard supporting driver by visiting the intel official website and downloading essential drivers such as video and sound driver.

Hello,
Friends
You have Intel i845-ITE8712 chipset with 1.7GHz cpu. I will just upgrad the SDRAM from 256 MB to 1GB (two 512MB 133MHz DIMM SDRAM).
You can install 2.4/2.6 400 MHz You will gate more performance.
Or can install 2.8 400 celeron

Follow the installation guide

I can't reinstall my computer, how to solve it?

restart computer, hit del on boot... go to boot sequence in boot menu... rearrange it like .:>cd-> hard drive -> floppy.... cd must be first to boot from... put win xp or whatever os you are trying to install... hit f10 save configuration... computer will restart and ask you to hit some key to boot from cd .. and that is it.

Gigabyte motherboard cd

You do not not need your motherboard CD to preform a format on your drive. Any windows CD. Win XP home, XP Pro, Win 2000 will format your hard drive. You can also use the hard drive's Mfg's utility disks & creat a bootable floppy disk or creat a bootable CDROM disk that will not only allow you to format the hard drive but also fun testing on the drive. You can even pick your cluster size & FAT file. Write down the name of your drive & model no#. Go to the Mfg's web site & download the utility software. Chances are Windows will have most of your boards drivers in it's data base. All you'll need to do is download from Gigabyte your missing drivers. You'll need you complete model no# & version no# if you can find it.
