When it's at about half power or more, the engine will just stop, and to get it going again i have to let go of the throttle and push it up again. it's only a few days old so i don't know whats wrong with it. any advice?
I put tons of oil in the top and back rotor and it seemed to fix it. Seems like there is a vibration sensing chip that shuts off the motor when there is too much vibration. A little note though, the helicopter will be a little heavier thus flying a little less nimble. That is actually good since it will be easier to fly.
As far as the green light on the charger not coming on, after I tested the batteries in the remote, I found that it was due to 2 of the 6 batteries in the remote control being dead (like 0.1volts) The charger probably sucks the power out of the #1 and #6 battery.
Another thing: you can buy lots of replacement parts on Ebay for cheap.
Hope that helps
PS: Those who see this toy as fragile and clumsy probably don't appreciate the technology involved in it. 20 years ago, similar technology was only being developed by the US army's experimental labs. Now it's available to us for about $20 (up here in Canada).
