Select the smile shutter option from the program settings. You will see an icon of a smiley face on the bottom left hand of the screen. To activate the automatic shot of when a person smiles, simply hold down the shutter button for a second or two. Now, when the camera face detection senses a smile, it will automatically take the picture. To deactivate it, press the shutter button again, the camera will then tell you how many shots it took. Hope this helps.

Canon T70 not taking photos!?!? Help

Oops my bad.

It could be a jammed shutter. If you take the lens out and the film out. Take a few pictures and see if the shutter moves. If there is no movement I would take it into a camera shop and take a look at it. Unless the shutter spring is busted, it could be an easy fix.
