Question about Canon Elura 60 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
Hi, My Elura 60 won't transfer video through firewire to a computer or DVR. When I plug in the cable, the bottom right of the screen say's "DV IN" and to video comes through the connection. I've done this type of transfer a million times and I can't figure out what is wrong. I have made sure that the AV-DV OUT is turned off. Heck, I've actually tried it both ways. I've tried turning the camera on and off, plugging the DV cable in at different times. Please help, Chuck Temple firstname.lastname@example.org
You will have to use process of elimination.first of all if dvd in on camera can you copy a video file from computer to camera??.if you can this rules out a faulty lead.if you dissconect the firewire at the camera side are there any bent pins on the socket of the camera??have seen the socket get damaged loads of times!.its dv out you should be looking for why turn it off.?try these and if still in trouble get advise or est from repair center
