Question about Canon Elura 60 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

DV In Message Won't let me output from DV

Hi, My Elura 60 won't transfer video through firewire to a computer or DVR. When I plug in the cable, the bottom right of the screen say's "DV IN" and to video comes through the connection. I've done this type of transfer a million times and I can't figure out what is wrong. I have made sure that the AV-DV OUT is turned off. Heck, I've actually tried it both ways. I've tried turning the camera on and off, plugging the DV cable in at different times. Please help, Chuck Temple chuckyte@gmail.com

the procedure is the same ..for vhs...but you will need a firewire cable ..also ..and a program that will import from device...The issue is that Im not sure what program you need for MAC ..but if you have a windows computer available to do that ..things are getting simple..just follow this video..

Can't transfer DV from Canon Elura 50 to Dell Vostro 1500

When you re-installed windows the fire-wire port driver may not have been re-installed. Make sure to download all the latest drivers for your dell laptop and install them.

Would like to know how to copy mini tape to a DVD

You'll need an IEEE 1394(firewire) for taking instant video to the puta, then the DVD. You always have to save it on your puta first as a wma, avi or other type of flie before transferring it to the dvd burner. If you don't require instant gratification you can use the AV/AD out to USB cord that came with the cam. A Firewire cost around $60 for a 5 footer.

JVC DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA MODEL NO. GR-D370U

Hi Heidi.

Be sure your camera is on when you have connected it to your PC. Then you have to put it in Play mode and rewind the tape if it's a USB cable you connect with. Start Windows Movie Maker and test.

The following link could be useful http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/moviemaker/getstarted/default.mspx

Best regards

Can't download my video from my elura 40mc to new hp vista laptop

Go to canon's website navigate to its download page for camcorders, then plug in information about your operating system and download the new driver for Vista. Restart your computer, plug in cable and camcorder. Should work.

Additionally if you want clean up your registry, use free Eusing registry fixer to fix most problems. It is a stable product.

How to transfer mini dv tape to dvd or vcd

you should have a few choices with this model: usb, firewire, composite a/v..

this link will take you to canon's download page for your camera,

the dvmessenger app should let you view your camera on the comp, use it for videoconferencing, and view it online, as well as remotely control it, although it may not let you transfer much.

your camera should have come with an installation cd that included digital video software. if it did not, you will have to contact canon for a replacement cd.

i would recommend downloading the product manual from the above site and checking page 134

in addition you can use the memory card to transfer files via a memory card reader on the pc, these can be picked up inexpensively at most camera and computer stores. your camera however should be fine if you are using windows xp and the usb cable for your camera.

hope this helps,
trin
