Please look on the back of the router for a small reset button - Press this with a pin or something small and hold it for a few seconds. Then check your router manual or a sticker on the bottom of the router to use the default password for your router

Note: You will have to reconfigure any settings you changed ie port forwarding

Forgot user name & password to Linksys wireless EA3500. How can I retrieve it?

did you change the username and password on the router

if not
1) it maybe written on a label on the router
2) often it is
admin
admin

if you changed it , then you could try using the factory reset button on the device to return to factory settings

If the router was supplied by your broadband supplier they may have setup a username and password themselves and in which case you would need to contact them

Forgot password and user name??

If you forgot your user and password of router then press RESET button of router for 10 seconds it is in back side of router. Then all settings defaults. Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then configure wan settings and lan settings enable wireless if you want to use wifi . If you want to secure wireless then enable WEP in wireless security enter password there it is your password to connect wifi. Then save settings and restart router. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

I tried to set up a password with my wireless 2350 broadband router and now its saying that the settings don't match my network.. i need help

Change your wireless settings on your computer. Use the router's password. that way you will be able to gain access to your router. when you changed the settings on your router it does not automatically update your computer's connection settings. you have to manually change it. try right clicking the icon for your wireless on your computer. go to the connection settings and add a password that corresponds to the settings you changed on your router.

Undoubtedly, it's asking for the administrator information. User name is admin and password is admin. The link will show you the default settings for the router should you have to reset it.

Forgot username/password for Dell Wireless 2350 Broadband Router.

Do you mean you have forgotten the wireless password for your network?

If so , there is are several tools available online which recover the wireless key as long as you have previously connected to that network from your computer.

Disconnection problems

I see. You can try changing the wireless settings of the router. You can do that by accessing the web based utility of the router. Here are the instructions:

1. Click the Start button, and then click Run.
2. Type the following text in the Open box: http://my.router
3. If this is the first time configuring your Dell Wireless 2350 Broadband Router, or if the user name and password have not been changed from the default settings, type admin in the User Name field and admin in the Password field.
4. Click the OK button. The Configuration screen appears.
5. Under the Basic settings, under Wireless Settings change the channel from Auto to 1, 6, or 11.

If that does not work, you can try updating the firmware of the router. You can download the firmware from this site:
http://www.dell-drivers.com/dell-drivers-downloads/Dell-Wireless-2350-Broadband-Router_8689.shtml

Here are the instructions on how to upgrade:

1. Reaccess the configuration page of the router using a wired computer.
2. Click on System Tools, find Firmware Upgrade.
3. Click Browse and search for the firmware you downloaded from the site I gave you earlier. Select it and then start the upgrade. Let the firmware finish its upgrade.
