Question about Palm Tungsten E2 Handheld
Digitizer on my Tung/E skewed so bad had to touch an "a" to get a "z", only effected lower L /upper R, opposite corners where the unit calibrates were fine. replaced with a new Tung /E2, started doing the same in 3 months then digitizer failed completely during a calibrate sequence - all other atributes function. is the digitizer a weakness in this series that makes it risky to buy the part and replace it myself? if not, do you recommend digitizer/LCD combo or just replacing the digitizer? is there any after market SW to upgrade the digitizer formating to calibrate all corner points like my antique Palm had years ago? thx
Your gonna find that with the exception of the battery, all else should be left to the factory if nothing else but for factory warrantees. Your probably putting static electricity into the unit and they don't like that.
