Just to be sure make sure the pump is recieving power before replacing as the switch/circuit board that regulates all functions maybe the actual fault.

Check to see if there is something(sock) in the pump. If not, try spin washer with pump hanging down, but not with hoses off.

You probably have something stuck in the drain pump.

Clogged suction line in bath whirlpool

It sounds like something got sucked into your pump impeller, you can try sucking it back out with a wet vac but my bet is that you'll have to open the pump to clean it out. If the marble skirt is the only acccess to the pump it will need to be removed but look for another way first, they can be difficult to reinstall and make look good. If your careful, the pumps can be opened and cleaned without much trouble, Use your wet vac to suction anything left out of the pump suction line and make sure the pump discharge and distribution lines are clean as well. Pump case should have an "O"Ring seal that should be replaced but may be cleaned, lubricated and reused if not dammaged
Good Luck, this is the kind of job the service tech's make there money on.

Whirlpool bath has lower then normal jet pressure

This is usually caused by a reduction of RPMs of the pump. If the pump sounds slower than usual, the pump motor is worn out and needs replaced. If the pump sounds normal there could be a blockage in the impeller in the pump or a suction screen full of debris. The suction screen is at the bottom of the tub usually in the middle of one of the sides. It can usually be removed with a screwdriver and checked to make sure all the little holes are open. If none of these ideas work, call in a pro to have a proper diagnosis performed.

My whirlpool du1050xtps3 makes a grindin sound

Yes, this is common. Sounds like bearings in the motor. Will need to replace the pump and motor assembly. 14 6324 -->partimage.aspx?imgid=z3bqljbfahrfmduxntm1oc9mufcvc290b2hwdhjhcc8%3d

Whirlpool Sound During Drain

Yes, you can pull one of the pump's leads to find whether the noise comes from the pump. You should unplug machine's power cable first and be sure that the disconnected wire is isolated. Before replacing the pump look that it clean from any foreign object/ Good luck!
