I used a microSD adapter and dragged it from my music onto my card into the audio file in a different dialogue box.

How can i put music from my computer to the micro sd card to put in my phone

Music from PC to Cell Phone Depends on the phone. If it has a external memory card, you can use aadapter to connect it to your computer. If you do not, then you need adata cable that is compatible with your phone to connect to yourcomputer. connect the data-cable to the pc and select mass storage option when prompted
go to my computer and put the songs in your memory card

OR...you can use a bluetooth adapter.
I know some cell phone manager supports connect pc and cell phone. Withthe software manager cell phone as HD.And the software is totally free.

Pantech Ringtone problem

Hi, yes you can definitely use mp3 larger than 250kb for you ringtone, all you need to do is to buy an external micro sd card (512mb or 1 gb) where you can store the mp3 music.

Take care

Unfortunately, my son lost his IPOD. How do I

You can't use itunes to transfer his music to the phone, but you can do it manually. The matrix supports a microSD card, so you would need one the size of his library at least. If you have a microSD card, I'll assume you have a card reader. Just go to My Music on the computer and there should be a folder called iTunes, and within that folder one called iTunes Music. Just copy the contents of that folder to the microSD card and then put it in the phone. He should now have his music on the phone.

Cant transfer music files from card to phone or find them.

I had the same problem and realised that you have to copy the file from the music section on your external memory to the sounds section. Firstly I sent an album to my memory card via windows media player and it went to the music section. My phone recongnised it was there on the external memory but not when I tried to play it through the mp3. I read an earlier message and it mentioned that the music needs to go into the sounds file so I copied it to that file and hey presto, I have music on my external memory that actually plays lol

My mp3 on my pantch matrix wont play the music from the external

I had the same problem. I put music on my SD card, and whenever I tried to play it, my phone would reset. I looked through the files, and found that the songs i had bought on iTunes were all in MP4 format. I downloaded the 4media mp4 to mp3 converter, and converted the files. When I put the card back into my phone, the music player worked perfectly!

Note: MP4 files DO NOT have question marks beside them in the phone. The only way you can tell is to highlight the files on a computer. Hope this was a help!!

Cannot transfer music from memory card to phone,

Before you put your songs and file on your memory card did you first insert the memory card into your phone, and then formatted it?

I have the LG Rumor as well and i haven't figured out a way to make the songs available as a ring tone yet, it only gives me the option of downloading new ringtones, and I can only play my music in the music player ='(
