Question about Optimus DC-5347 Digital Camera
The camera lens is sticking out even when the camera is off, and the camera itself will turn on for about 1 second then shuts off after making a clicking sound.
I had this problem as well, I left it lay for awhile, picked it up again and noticed that one side of the lense had been pushed in slightly making it so the camera couldn't retract the lense. I popped it back out, noise went away, and the camera has worked fine since. Hope this will help.

I had the exact same problem on a Nikon. Unfortunately, after having dealt directly with Nikon in Richmond BC, the cost of fixing it was greater than the cost of a new camera, even Nikon told me they'd recommend I just buy a new camera (and no, not selling me on other Nikon equipment, just a new camera in general). So I'd say you'll most likely have to buy a new camera. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but its life unfortunately. Good luck.
