Looks like you need to install the drivers/software for the player on your computer. If this is the case, the player should have come with a CD containing the required drivers/software. If you do not have the CD, call technical support of the manufacturer to send you one or give you a Web page address from where you can download the drivers/software on your computer.
all i can think about [because i've managed to find my cd] is to go to service and ask them to make you a copy, that you will pay for. i was searching for this software in the web, but i couldn't find the right one, so going to the service is good enough for the beginning. they should tell you what can you do. [sorry for my english, this is not my native language..]
jess37, there is a software disk you'll need. In order for you to continue setting up your player. The software will also give you the manual, I can send you a copy of the manual if needed. This is rocsteadi, let me know.
