tried first with re seating the lvds cable in the t-con board, the t-con board is mounted covered with metal shield. if can get with fixing the cable, then your t-con board has defective component parts.
That is how the channels are broadcast - reset the cable box and make sure your TV is digital ready to receive the signals. Some channels are just scrambled and you can't receive them. Go through your set up with your remote to channel search but some will still be scrambled because they are closed circuit or just for some broadcasts.
Check if it has a scrambled image on all sources ie - DVD- VCR - cable/satellite box. Since the PIP is normal it sounds like the signal source is bad.
Post back with more info about your set up (what's hooked to your TV) if you need more info
A board called the Hyper Module has gone flaky. It needs to be pulled and a whole bunch of electrolytic capacitors need to be changed inside it. I have done many of these repairs before and the usual cost is around $250 to $300. The set is well worth the repair.
Um...well when mine does that i unplug it and hold the power button for ten seconds and then plug it back in. Always works for me ;-) hope it works for u.
