U-line beverage center not cooling - U-Line 2175BEVS-00 Stainless Steel Beverage Center - Right Hinge

The power switches for a Danby Beverage Center Model DBC514BLS-1 are the power on/off switch and the temperature control switch. The power on/off switch turns the unit on or off and the temperature control switch allows you to adjust the temperature of the beverage center.

I am not familiar with this unit but in guessing but I would not assume the thermistor is bad, actually if as you say the compressor is running that is all the thermistor can do. My first guess is the condenser needs cleaning, that is the area where it gets warm. If that is clean then the possibility of a refrigerant leak is there. If not that then the compressor most likely has a bad valve in it. I would suggest contacting a refrigeration tech after everything has been cleaned and it still does not cool.

Anytime there is ice buildup it will not cool. Was the door left open? If so that would cause ice buildup. If it wasn't left open and it is a frost free model you have a problem with the defrost circuit. Unplug it and Manually defrost it with items removed by using a hairdryer and towels to absorb water from defrosting Afterwards it will cool again .If the defrost circuit needs service the unit will continue to frost up. Usually in frost free models there is a heater that goes bad.

sounds like you 'smoked' the transformer.

Multiple reasons. Is it turned on & set. Is the fan inside & out turning fast. Is there frost on a line at the compressor Is the compressor outside cabinet s/b hot & vibrating continually. Is the condenser (attached to compressor with radiator) warm/hot & not plugged with lint etc between the fins. ?????

Being it is brand new you should contact Frigidaire about getting it repaired or replaced under warranty.

E5 means that the unit is 10 degrees warmer than the set point for more than 12 hours. You may need service to help you find out if its a sealed system or maybe a thermistor in the wrong location
