Stopped working while plugged into outlet, flashed red light (indicating battery is out of power?) when trying to turn on.
After numerous tries of pressing power button, stopped flashing red at all.
Just bought a new battery 9 months ago
If your battery is dead and your not able to use the adapter to keep it going, its probably a dead ac adapter. is the light where its connected ? light on the box (if it has one), the outlet you are plugged into have power to it ? try another plug

The majority of laptops will display a solid green, blue or
purple battery light to indicate that the battery is fully charged. Most
manufacturers indicate that a laptop is in the process of charging by
displaying a solid or blinking green, orange, blue or purple light. If
your battery indicator light is green, blue or purple, the battery is
probably functional, regardless of whether the light is blinking. If the
light is solid orange, the laptop is probably in the process of
Battery Error Coneventions
Many battery manufacturers use rapidly blinking lights to
indicate that a battery's charge level is low. In general, a laptop will
rapidly blink orange or red when its charge drops below a certain level
until the computer is plugged into a power outlet and charged. If your
laptop's battery indicator continues to blink rapidly in orange or red
or if it remains red even when it is plugged into the charger, it
indicates a problem with your battery or the charger.
It could be realted to your faulty Battery.
Please remove the battery and connect the Power cable. Now switch on the laptop without battery (Make sure Power connector should be connected and switch ON).
Check whether its getting ON now or not.
Have you check the battery you are using or better still remove the battery at th back and plug it directly to the power supply and check if it turn on well . if it is positive then change the battery , the battery is at fault.but you can still add the battery when you see that after removing battery and plug it straight it power on then after like twenty minutes you can slot in the battery as well so as for it to be re-boost by the power and get charge up.
If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, until they won't charge up at all. Check power adapter’s DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. I suggest you get a quote first.
blinking red light with battery icon means that you are running out of battery power. if the computer is plugged in to the wall and it still does the same thing you may have to replace the ac adapter or charger. the charger should have a green light on it to indicate it is getting power.
