Check the model of your motherboard with the tool CPU-Z from here. search for the drivers on the internet. From Device Manager (open with the run command: devmgmt.msc), see whether the driver is installed properly or not. The Windows XP and Windows 7 drivers are different. so you have to install updated drivers means for Windows 7 operating system only. Check the motherboard manufactures web site to download the drivers and to get more information.

mukesh maid:
There is no need to use scheduler. You can accomplish this using hibernation. Hibernation is the process whereby Windows saves the current state of your machine (open files, windows, etc.) and shuts down in a hibernated state. Then when you start back up, it is all as it was before it was shut down. Right click on any blank part of your desktop, select Properties. The window appearing will be titled Display Properties, but this is about the system, not just display.
Then select the tab for Screen Saver, and click on the button in the lower right corner labeled Power. When this window opens, make sure you are able to hibernate. Click the tab titled Hibernate and make sure Enable Hibernation is checked. Then go to the Power Schemes tab, and the bottom set of choices (System hibernates) is for you to choose the amount of time after which the system will hibernate. Click the drop down arrow and select a time. Then, when the system has been idle for that amount of time, it will automatically hibernate, and you don't have to worry about it any more.

Good luck finding Vista Drivers if the manufacturer doesn't have them. some things you can force XP drivers to work on Vista /7 i'll let you know right now if your graphics card isn't supported with Windows 7 your SOL using the standard VGA adapter driver. you can't force XP graphics drivers... Windows 7 graphics drivers are WDDM drivers not XPDM. i just went through this with my Dell latitude D610 laptop.
(this isn't part of the answer it's just my experience with vista/7 display drivers)
Microsoft said because the Intel 915GM is lacking hardware scheduling it doesn't meet WDDM standards and Intel can't release a WDDM driver for it. so i'm stuck with standard VGA with No Aero and a system rating of 1.0 because of graphics while everything else is at a 3.2 or higher. i guess for me its back to XP...... or vista (LOL ya right)

You need to check and re-install correct drivers. Hardware details are required.
