Trouble entering message into itext sms text messenger

I bought a set of itext sms text messengers by cyber gear, and I am having trouble entering a message into the chat function. Everytime I attempt to input text, it changes the mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I bought these as gifts for friends, and it would be great to get them up and running before handing them to them.

    it will not let me send a sms message, it will just show a question mark and it wont let me type my message, and it goes to different things, such as the id button

    I have that same problem only my messenger is an a different style!

I updated someone else's instructions to make them more clear...

Instructions to a Sakar sms text messenger - sending text messages.

Press the NUMBERS/LETTERS below the keypad icons.

Example: SEND a message from one Messenger to the other

  • For the messenger (USER 1) receive a message
    • Press SMS button,
    • then the RECV button and leave it like that - don't do anything
  • On the messenger (USER 2)sending the message
    • Press SMS
    • Type with the numbers/letters (NOT THE PICTURE)
    • Click SEND (it will display P/i ?)
    • click the (I C Q chat) button with the smiley face
  • The message will appear on messenger (USER 1) display

Push on the black number/letters rather than the colored buttons. I had the same problem til I did this. Hope that helps.

Try removing the batteries for a few minutes, it may reset it back to how it came when you bought it.

ITEXTING SMS TEXT MESSENGER
hi. im alyssa, im 11. my friend rachel bought me it. it was confusing at first. to send a messege, press SMS or the w/e u have for the chat. u press the MIDDLE of the letters on the black, keep pressing it until u get the letter u wannt. then u press send and it'll say : P/I? then press ICQ.

you have to type the message in on messenger and have the oter messenger on reseve make sure the red light plastic parts are faceing athotor and when you want to send the message you push send and then real fast after you push send quicly pushcall icq they cant be farther then about 10 feet will work at around 1 ft to 5ft but the red light plastic part in the frount must be fasing one athor

Sms Text messenger
It just means 2 AAA (triple a) batteries. Any store with batteries should have them. They are also known as LR03 but not typically called that in the US. AAA batteries will be 1.5 volts each.
