1996 BMW 325i convert speaker problem - Need help

Hello, I bought this older car and it had blown speakers. I went to circuit city and bought a new radio and speakers to bring it up to date - and be able to listen to my ipod. The bad news is - I spent over 550.00 and it really does not sound that good. It is missing a lot in the sound and seems to be all midrange? I bought their top of the line pioneer radio and polk speakers. He was explaining that the door speakers will not work and have to be disconnected and because the speakers have to be such a small size there is only so much sound they can put out and they will struggle. What I am listening to because there are no side ones anymore are the front floor speakers and the back ones and without a woofer and amp in the truck - which is not something I want to do - he said this is the best it can sound. Do you know anything about this??? I really appreciate your time.

Hello I recently bought an Hyundai Iload and want to know if I can connect a subwoofer to the factory unit?

Yes, you can. You will need a hi/lo converter to use the high signal from one of your vehicle's speakers and convert it to a low signal for an amplifier. Your will need an accessory power source (switched with the car's ignition or accessory on) to act as a remote turn for the amplifier. You will need an amplifier kit. The kit usually comes with a power wire, ground wire, remote turn on wire(blue), RCAs to connect the converter to the amp, a fuse for the power supply at the battery and speaker wire to connect the amp to the sub. Now, all you need is the sub.

These early BMW codes require further information as they often do not use the standard EEPROM method of code security .

I need the radio code for 92 bmw 325i

Hello,

Here is a site that will provide the radio code for $28.99.

http://www.radio-code.com/

You will need the serial number of the radio. There are 2 ways to retrieve the serial number. The first way does not require removal of the radio: 1) With the key in the off position - HOLD DOWN THE "M" RADIO BUTTON 2)WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE "M" BUTTON, TURN ON THE KEY AND THE RADIO 3) SERIAL NUMBER WILL BE DISPLAYED 4) WRITE DOWN THE RADIO SERIAL NUMBER. The second method requires removal of the radio. The site above does not support that method of retrieval. In that case, you should probably check with your local BMW dealership.

Hope this helps!
