It is Code SL which means Suds Lock. Either you have too much soap suds for it to drain properly or Your drain pump is clogged and not spinning properly. Try running it through a rinse and spin cycle and if you still get a code (SL or Ld) then you will probably need to replace your drain pump.
I had the same problem. The washer control board has an intermittent failure. If you unplug power for about 30 minutes then plug it back in you will get a PF code (power failure). Ignore this code and push start again. It may run till it finishes the cycle or it may start cycling again right away. A new board costs about $180 at repairclinic.com
Error code "SL" is displayed if suds are detected but the machine is unable to clean it out after three tries with a mini-cycle. This may indicate a bad pump, an extra heavy load, or inappropriate detergent is used.
Press STOP/CANCEL button to clear the display. Do not overload the machine and use a high efficiency (HE) detergent. Use 1/2, or even lower, of the normal amount if regular detergent is used.
The drain pump assembly price ranges between $110 and $130 exclusive of
service fee if you ask a technician to replace it for you. Please advise me if the error code still appear on the display for the drain pump troubleshooting and replacement procedure.
SL is a suds lock code it can be caused by the drain pump not draining
the water, too much detergent, non HE detergent, or extra heavy loads,
try running it empty, if code persits it is a computer failure and will need to be replaced.
I would say to worry about it , if its flooding your house , need to open washer front panel ,start a new wash cycle and take a look to see where the water is leaking from , sounds like a broken hose under the tub that connects to the DRAIN MOTOR PUMP , AND BETTER have it fix right away cause if its getting to the main motor it could damage it , hope it helps AJ
