Click "Tools" then "Audio & Video Setup". If it says your camera's working, then all should be well on your end. Then, if you want to connect to someone who also has a webcam, they also have to be set up to send and receive video and audio.

Hp dv7 1245 dx all of a sudden blurry webcam

Try downloading and install the webcam drivers again. If it is still blurry, try some of your settings in the camera software.

You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.

Can i get a webcam to fit this notebook I would love to have an attached webcam. thank you cat7dog2@aol.com Thanks

check for a free usb port on the side of your notebook. A usb port looks like a square opening where you would plug in a component. If you see a free usb port, then you can buy almost any webcam that you want. Just make sure you get a camera that works on your operating system and uses a usb cable to connect to your pc. If you choose a camera that does not have your operating system listed as compatible the pc may not recognize the camera without installing software or drivers first. Some notebooks do not have a cd or dvd player in order to install software. If you have a cd/dvd player on your notebook, Make sure you install the software for the camera before connecting the camera. if you do not have one, try choosing a camera from a reputable source (like HP) so you can download the software required for free over the internet. Hp has software and drivers available for free download on all their products from their website at www.hp.com.

I dont know how to turn my web cam on. please can u help me

The HP Pavilion DV6000 is a laptop from HP's entertainment series; this series is optimized for media and gaming. Unlike some of the newer models, it doesn't feature a built-in webcam. Webcams are an asset to online communication, allowing you to stream a live recording of yourself. Installing an external webcam to use with this laptop model is quick and easy.

1.Plug the webcam into a free USB port on your laptop.

2.Wait for any missing drivers to load; a notification will appear in your system tray when the process is finished. If drivers do not load automatically, see Resources for a download link.

3.Wait for the webcam software to install itself. Alternatively, if your webcam came with a CD, insert it and install the software from there.

4.Open the webcam software to turn on your webcam. Once the software loads, you will be able to see your webcam image.

SONY VAIO VGN-CR520D MY PROBLEM IS WITH MY WEB CAM, NO WORK WITH WIN7

Hi carlosoaj,

You need to re-install the Camera Driver after the installation of the Windows 7 Operating System in the computer. As the Windows Vista Drivers are compatible with Windows 7 Operating System, you can try installing those Driver.

Please download the Camera Driver here

Please download the file to a folder in the Computer. Then, please open the folder where the files is downloaded and double click on it to begin the installation. Please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process. After installation, restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect.

After that, install the Windows 7 Camera Applications in the Computer. You can download the Windows 7 Camera Applications from the below link.

WebCam Companion Software

Magic-i Visual Effects Software

Please download and install the Software in the computer. Make sure that you restart the Computer after each installation for the settings to take the effect. Then, please click "Start", "All Programs" and click the "WebCam Companion" to open the Camera Application and use the Camera.

How do u turn ur web camera on

You have a HP DV6000, it uses Cyberlinks Youcam program, this program has to be started in order for the web camera to operate. If you do not have the software loaded on your laptop, below is a link to get it. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose a download, once the software is loaded and installed, click on the yourcam icon and a tutorial will appear and the camera will start and be indicated by a blue light by the lens.

Downloading Kodak Easyshare

when it goes to the installation wizard.... do you let it run long enough to see a screen that gives you a choice to repair or uninstall ?

quick fix for the errors that are shown in start up is the start menu.... run and type in msconfig in the box.... another window pops up. click on the start up tab.... unmark any reference to kodak.
