You are getting on the Internet okay, I guess? If so, do you also have a firewall program (Norton Internet Security, ZoneAlarm, etc.) running in the background? If you do, you'll have to go into the firewall software and configure it for Skype access.

Why my wireless laptop is not working

You have to do a few steps to check the problem :
1.Check if the wireless switch is on, on your laptop.
2. If it is on then check if the network adaptors are installed or not. You can check that by going into device manager ( start - run - devmgmt.msc). If it is not installed you will find a exclamation mark or simply go to your manufacturers website and update your wireless driver.
3.Then go to Start\Connect To\Show All Network Connections (or, if this doesn't show up on your computer, Start\Control Panel\Network And Internet Connections\Network Connections). For your wireless card, remove it from the bridge (right click on the wireless network and enable it if it is disabled and then if you have a option remove it from bridge click on that.)
4.Restart your wireless zero configration. Go to control panel/Administrative tools/Services, right-clicking on the "Wireless Zero Configuration", and telling it to stop. After it stops, right-click on it again, and tell it to start, and then wait a minute or so and see what happens.
then try to connect and see if you can for this go to the network and sharing center search for all the wireless networks and try to connect. I think this should do it for you. If not reply with the message or error you get.

My computer won't let me connect to wireless network but i was connected before now it tells me there is no authentication path & that I have no administrator account but it won,t allow me to get in...

Is there anything changed on the wireless router? You may need to contact the one who is in charge of the router. Or, you can check the network connection settings and figure out whether you are connected to another wireless network now. Sometimes it is automatically detected by your computer that one wireless network is not available and another one in the list is working so it will switch over.

You need to increase the memory before you do anything else. There is nothing wrong with a gig or two of memory providing your clients computer will support it.

I think id copy what ever files your client wants to save and then delete the user that you are having trouble with.

Id create two new accounts, 1 would be a standard user and the other would be an administrator user. Id tell the client to use the standard user.

I think Id be setting up a wireless connection to both users. Use your network as the contact of course.

You need to clean the computer ... use CClean, a free download. Defrag the drive ... use Windows defragmenter or Defraggler (from the same people that provide CClean), another free download. I think you should log on to PCPITSTOP and have them scan this computer. Read all of the report that they will provide you for free. Does your friend have a network? Id suggest you get Network Magic to help you with the network and connection to your/his(her) network. Read the deal while you are at the Cisco website. I think you should consider Comodo Reg Cleaner to clean the registry and lastly, you might consider Spy Bot - Search and Destroy available for free at PC World web site.

I hope this helps you ... and thank you for helping your friend.

Let me know if there is anything else I might help you with.

Hi there,

This normally means that you wireless network has found a network to connect to but it cannot assign anetwork adress because the network you have connect to is security enabled. U need to find our the password or get the network administrator to give you asscess to that particular network. Or you look at another network to connect to.

Regards,

Philip

Cannot receive e mail fom delta .com

hi, i'm going to assume that your an employee trying to access a work account from home. concidering that then you must be using windows mail, or outlook, some kinda program as such. most of these programs have made it fairly easy to set up. (if you've already had it set up and are now having problems contact the administrator for help). first it'll ask for all the specific information you'll need to set up your account. for this information you'll need to contact the network administrator for the account/settings. work through the interface and use the check account first b-4 continuing. then you should be connected. good luck and have a nice day.

Hi Harisram
well you use a administrator account? or User created accound? basic priviledges? well, if so, you have to Create a new Administrative account and try to use the connection wizard to re-create the wireless net , account.
