I was troubleshooting one of these error codes on a Jenn-Air oven and followed all the repair recommendations. Most service techs recommend replacing the fan, speed sensor and making sure everything is clean. I did all this and it made no difference. After a bit more troubleshooting I found the temperature sensor to be bad. I replaced the temperature sensor and the fan fault code disappeared and the oven worked normally.
The exact same thing just happened with my lower oven and the code 4d22 appears in the upper right part of the display panel by the the timer. There is no explanation for the code in the instruction manual. Hope someone can help us with this. Upper oven works fine.
Hello- 'Successfully' sounds like you were forewarned.... During the 'self-clean' cycle a circuit or connection to the upper elements burned out while attempting to turn stuff inside the oven to ash. Since this is a wall oven my recommendation is for service from a good tech in your area. You may have lucked out with a fried connector, but many times control board is damaged beyond repair and must be replaced. Only on-site diagnostics will confirm, and this is a very heavy unit for most owners to safely service. - Remember- Don't use 'self clean'!! Scrape and clean with soapy water and cloth. Turn on oven to 450deg. for 30 min. Much safer. Less costly. Please acknowledge this post if the info is helpful- Have more if needed. Thanks- Ed
throw the jenn-air out. purchase something from another company that cares about their products. I have had the same issue, twice. my wife managed to melt the touch pad by baking and using the burner at the same time. this has happened to countless purchasers of jenn-air **** appliances. they should be sued and forced to fix their faulty design
THE SOLUTION WAS TO CALL FOR SERVICE. IF YOU CONTINUE TO USE THE UPPER OVEN , THEN THERE IS A POSSIBILTY IT CAN CAUSE A FIRE IF THE BLOWER IS NOT WORKING. THE COST OF THE REPAIR FOR REPLACING THE BLOWER WAS ABOUT $390.00. THEY NEED TO REMOVE THE OVEN FROM THE WALL CAVITY TO PERFORM THE REPAIR.
This means that the Power to element
relay energized during time of day display. You have a problem with the wiring harness and it is shorted or you need to change the power relay board (PRB). If it is a double oven, you need to change second oven board.
