If u r referring to the Insignia Sport ,allllllll u have 2 do(and i have had to do it several times) is HOLD the slide button to off until it shuts off(aprox.45 secs.)and then u can turn it right back on!!! easy! take care!

When it freezes it won't let you turn it off. Wait for the battery to run out (since it probably is at maximum brightness it won't take long) and then recharge it. It should work ok for a while after that. Sometimes you can plug it into the computer and it will unfreeze immediately sometimes it won't. Most of the time you just have to wait

Frozen mp3 player


Try a reset. On the back is a very small hole that you can stick a stright pin in. and that will reset the player. Try that.

Says goodbye on screen and seems like it froze up.


Find the reset button ( Probably on the back of the unit ) and press that to reset it. If it froze up, then resetting it should work to fix the problem.

Zune frozen with logo


Let the battery drain completely and then plug into computer. There was a leap year glitch from Microsoft and the fix is working today. Ours froze yesterday and it's OK this morning. This only fixes those that froze Dec. 31st.

My mp3 player has froze


Maybe try taking the battery out and putting it back in, because once my mp3 player froze and that worked. It froze when I was going through menus when the song was playing still and it was probably too much...
