Question about Kenmore 70172 Gas Commercial Dryer
Have a 70 Kmore series electric dyer.. an it started making a loud rubbing/grinding noise...I discovered that the white seal or spacer that is attached to the front of the tumbler has either come lose or broken could not tell for sure which this does not look an easy fix either... I am trying to get the part number for the seal/spacer and the repair instructions...thank you
Could be your fan might be out of line slightly if so you can get some scissors and cut around your fan arms to stop it rubbing the seal at the front of your machine you can replace with self adhesive foam that you can put around windows and doors same kind of thing and you can get it from B@Q WHICKES and places like that not a hard job but you do have to pull drum away from it to do it also could be the bearings at the back if u grab ahold of your drum and see if it wobbles if it does most likely the bearibgs not a hard job just take screws out of back panel and youi will see your bearings m8
