I pluged my philips gogear mp3 into my computer,and it worked perfectly, then not even eight hours later I tried to download more music and it said that I had so and so errors, so i reset it, and turned my mp3 back on it said "Please clear up to 10mb." and when that went off the screen I had nothing! No music, no videos, and no pictures, so I reset it once more and it wouldn't turn on please help me.

Charge your Philips GoGear ViBE for at least three hours before turning it on.
Insert the small end of your
mini USB cable into your GoGear ViBE. Insert the other end of this cable
into one of your computer's USB ports. Turn your GoGear ViBE on by
pressing and holding the "Power" button for two seconds.
Insert the Philips GoGear ViBE software disc into your computer's CD-ROM drive. Follow the onscreen prompts to install it.
Open "Computer" from the "Start"
menu and locate the GoViBE icon to make sure it has been successfully
connected to your computer.
Navigate to your music files. If
you're unsure about their location, start by looking in the "Music"
folder under the "Start" menu.
Drag and drop your music files from their folder onto the GoViBE icon in your "Computer" window.
Right-click the USB icon with
the green arrow, located in your taskbar, to disconnect your device.
Click "Safely Remove hardware," then wait until your computer confirms
that it's safe to remove the device. Disconnect the USB cable from both
your computer and your GoGear ViBE.
Select the musical note icon
from the main menu of your GoGear ViBE to open your music files.
Navigate to the sub-folders section, and select a song from either the
artist, album, track list or genre. Press the "Play/Pause" button to
begin playing a song

Its obvious that after the installation of a new Windows XP version in your computer, The GoGear Won't operate as usual Because it's missing drivers and the Music downloading utility in the computer Interface.

Subscribe to an online music service that is compatible with your GoGear, such as Rhapsody's Mp3-Only service - I repeat MP3 ONLY - no other Rhapsody service will work. Use Windows Media Player to transfer songs to your GoGear, or Rip CD's into Mp3 format - I repeat MP3 FORMAT - using Windows Media Player. Videos must be transferred using the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter that came on the installation CD. You can also get this program from Philips website. You will only be able to transfer photos to your GoGear if you have used the installation CD that came with the player. It contains a critical file that Philips has never posted to their website called the Philips Device Plug-In. -Tha Mp3 Doctor
Use a small papaerclip, pin, or other device and insert it into the reset hole until the GoGear shuts off. You may have to download the more recent version of the software for the device at www.usasupport.philips.com even after doing the reset.
My friend, I had the same problem. I however never use jukebox but I do have Windows Media Player 11 and I could see the songs being sent to the device. Even when I opened the device files on the pc the music was there. But when unplugging the USB and turning the actual mp3 player on, there was NO music on there. What I did is go on Philips.com and start researching away. I did rollback to the older version of Media player (10) by simply going to add/remove programs and following Phillips' own instructions. Also I thought it would be a good idea to download the most recent updated info Philips had for this device, like a driver or firmware they call it. Everything worked after that. I had no owners manual also, since I bought this MP3 from my barber at his shop after he got a new IPOD. SO I downloaded the owners manual and all additional info online at their website. Hope this helped. It wasn't easy but you just have to read. Also, it did take a while , good luck............RKALAWALA
