Well, a Fasco is a generic brand name of HVAC replacement motors.... a little more information would be helpful....like the wire colors???? Each Fasco motor has a wiring diagram on its side and is self-explanatory. Post a picture of the diagram and it will be much easier to walk you through the procedure.
But TYPICALLY....white is common
black is high speed
red is low speed
blue and yellow is medium low and medium high
two brown wires go to the capacitor
Some manufacturers have oem motors that have a few different colors.
See if NuTone has a replacement part for that. Any of your local appliance stores, or Lowe's or the Depot should be able to help. FASCO! Yikes! Too many years with Fasco!
try to found a local manufacture for heating elements, like http://rezistoterm.xhost.ro/ , give them the old heat element and the power of the bathroom heater (ex: 3000W and 220v, or 2000W and 110V) and they wil macke new oane and much chep like an original one.
