Question about LG KU990 Viewty

1 Answer

Changing volume doesn almost nothing

Changing volme only affects the volume of ringtone. The games and the menu sounds are at the same level no matter what. Some games have in-game volume scales, but only a few... I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

Normally, while youre playing you can change the volume by spinning the little wheel at the camera every time to make it louder or more quiet.

  1. Check a ringer volume and profile. Press a volume key to see the volume status bar at the top of the screen. Use the volume up and volume down keys to adjust the loudness of the ringer (scale 0 to 30). Tap on the text next to the ringer icon to change the profile (vibrate only, ring+vibrate).
  2. Check if the issue is with a specific ringtone: Go to Settings > ringtones+sounds > Ringtone, and tap on a playbutton to preview the ringtone.
  3. Switch off the ringer vibration (Settings > ringtones+sound > vibrate) temporary, to determine if your phone is affected by any motion settings i.e. Flip-to-Silence.
  4. Make sure that call forwarding is not switched on: Tap the phone icon > ... > Settings.
If the problem persists, restart your phone by pressing and holding the power and volume down keys simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Release and the phone will restart. After this operation, you may need to re-adjust the volume and set date+time on the phone. Note that this does not remove your personal content.

Preset ringtone level in my Nokia Lumia 60 is to low (13/30). How I can set higher preset ringtone level after power on. I can't find setting option.

CLICK HERE to go to a windows phone forum, where many people are \'upset\' that the volume for the ringtone, the earphone volume and music all change together. It seems to be a big pain.

My phone only vibrate when I receive a text...no sound. I have checked the play notification sound box and turned up all volumes. What can I do to get it to make a sound?

Go into your text applications. Click your menu button. Open your options from the menu button. Go under notification ringtone and select something.
Android notifications are done both at the system level and the app level. You have to check that both have a notification ring tone and volume.
