Question about Heart Rate Monitors

Flowlink will not transfer data

I have the Polar FT40 and Polar Flowlink. The very first time I tried to transfer data it worked fine. I have tried on 3 different occasions to do so since but it will not keep a connection long enough to transfer. I have restarted my computer and even uninstalled and reinstalled the program all to no avail. I have only had this for about 30 days and am about to give up on it ever working again. Please help.

Thanks for trying but there is no info available about the data transfer for Vista. There is way too much conflicting info about transferring from the FT40 to Vista so I have given up.

I ran in to the same issue. After a bunch of tries, I finally got the flowlink to work once. And now, never again.
I am using an FT60 and XP.

I have a Polar F11, It worked fine until it began to show 200 bpm or 00, I bought a new strip and it works fine during 10 months but now I am having a similar problem. it begin to show my heart rate but...

If you visit they have guidelines and life expectancies, it is also in your owners manual.

The HR reading can be caused by several issues some environmental some within the watch or strap, please visit my tips and tricks page for a detailed listing as well as if you need a new owners manual.

On the straps for an F11 those have a user replaceable battery, your battery may be the thing that is wearing out, not the whole strap. Try a new battery in the strap (wearlink connector) before buying an entire new strap.

The gels work by providing greater conductivity, yes they work, but you may or may not need it. depends on why you are having a signal issue.

Looking for a manual for this Heart Rate Monitor. I cannot seem to clear the data that is installed already and start reset it. Monitor is telling me that the data is full Apprecaite any assistance...

Not sure which Heart Rate monitor you have, but if it is a Polar then you can download the manual on the link under my tips and tricks page.

if you have something other than a Polar, what is the brand and model, that is important to be able to tell you how to program it.

I am looking for a Polar S410 HRM watch band because mine has a rip in it.

The Polar S-410 uses the same watch band as all the other S-Series bands so you can replace with any of them. S120, S150, S210, S410, S520, S625, S725. S810 all work fine.

To get the exact replacement you can contact one of the Polar Authorized Service Centers, and they can send one to you, I seem to remember they are under $15-.

You can also change the watch band style entirely and go with a Velcro style sports band, they are readily available at stores like REI and other sports/ mountain type shops. Take your watch with you to match the width of the original band at the head.

Polar F11 not responding

I' advise to start with battery check. If the battery is ok, then you will need a professional to find the cause of malfunction.

Setting Polar CE0537

You do not have the right model number. For some reason, Polar puts the CE0537 in big numbers on the back of the case. The real model number on my unit was in very light engraving right above the words "Polar Electro" on the back of the case. Looks like they have an engraving problem where both the model and serial number are very hard to read. If it helps, my model was S120 and I found the manual quickly on the polar site. The polar site also has the location of model numbers in their FAQ area.
