I didn't get the information I requested to be able to help you. There's more to it than just the position of the WAV bar

There were more questions to answer to solve your problem. Did the WAV file show all the way up?

Cant get front left and right speakers to produce sound....when i try to use the receiver remote to turn up the decibals on the front speakers it wont go past "0"...it will go into the negatives...

1. Speaker B instead of A selected??? Page 53.

2. As far as the Fronts limiting to 0 dB, they are the reference for all others. Perhaps the engineers thought it made no sense for the stake in the ground to have a moving reference level. See step 3 on Page 50.

No sound, Tried unplugging system for several days no help. Checked all wiring to speakers, looks ok. made sure speaker switch in correct position.

if you have a sound card you might need to reinstall the driver. if you dont have one double check the sound settings on the computer. maybe the speakers are not active

When turning on the receiver it shows the word Protection, and wont allow us to change the settings

Disconnect all the speaker wires at the receiver and turn the unit back on. If it says "protection" the problem is internal and needs service. If it stays on, reconnect one speaker at a time and test until it shuts off. Then trace the wire to the speaker, check for shorts with a meter if possible. Disconnect the speaker at the speaker and test again. If it stays on, the problem is in your speaker. check it with a meter for a shorted Voice coil or if it has an internal crossover network check it for obvious burn marks. Hope this helps. If you need more help, just post a comment and I can help you further.

Shuts off then red light indicator flashes, disconnected all speakers but still wont work

Hi, this is a power board issue. remove the cover and make sure that this unit doesn't have blow fuse. if the fuse is fine, you will then need to replace the integrated power/ main board.

I haven't use our speakers in a very long time - need help connecting them to my computer

I am going to work on the assumption that you have computer speakers (they have a power cord) and all the cables you need. Let me know if my answer doesn't seem to fit your situation.
On the back of your computer there should be a mini-phones jack with a tiny picture of a speaker or next to it. This is the output of your computer that needs to be connected to the input of your speakers. Your speakers will have a mini phones jack marked "input" or a wire with a mini phones plug on the end. Once you have the input connected just turn the power on and away you go.

Rear speakers dont work

check all your speaker wires probably they are broken.if they check good then you will have to get a tech to look at your set it could be your set output ic or transistor gone bad and need to be replaced.and if it is a old set buy a new one probably it wont worth the while to repair it.

good luck

RECEIVER WILL NOT TURN ON.

first you have to test separatly your speakers outputs
disconnect all wires speaker and speakers, turn on your reciever and look if you still have the same problem «CHECK SPEAKER WIRES alert» if yes you have to go to a specialist to fix it... if no test one line after one line with and without speaker connected until the problem reappear to locate the bad line or bad speaker.
