You need to check your fuses in case one blew out, try turning the lights on as the same time as it is quite common to get the lighting wire confused as a power wire and also check the connections from the faceplte to the stereo

The BUS wires are a serial data link, probably incompatible with other makes of CD player. I'd hesitate to connect it to +12v, this may cause damage. If anything try connecting it to BUS.C through a 1kohm resistor to start with.
