Brother MFC-620CN All-In-One Printer

Hi
I am having problems with print quality on the above named printer. I am printing text and the quality is not as sharp as it should be. I have cleaned the cartridges several times, ran a Print Quality Test Page which looks OK, but when I run an Alignment Test Page I have to check the 600dpi and 1200 dpi and find a match for both resolutions. The only problem is 1200 dpi has a match but there is no match for 600dpi which I think is the cause of the printing quality being rubbish. I have been online looking for solutions, I have referred to the manual but there is no resolve for this problem.

GuruA service partner has to adjust the printhead by special software. This cant be done by user. After adjustment the printing quality will be as good as brand new.
