No power-Will not power up with the remote or power button

I checked the fuse and it is good on the G board and it is good(F6001).Is there a way to check the power supply?I have a little bit of experience using a test meter,so any help would be great. The tv was given to me as a no power up so dont know anything else about it.I had it apart(as far as the panels and all,but dont see anything like lightning damage or sort.It is a very clean tv.If I have to get premium support let me know.I would really like to get this tv working again.

TH50PZ80U two blinking lights when attempting to power on, if power button is pushed and held for several seconds after initial turn on blink code turns to ten.

I see so many here with no sound/nopicture issues:

ISSUES:

1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.
2. If no power or standby check main fuse, standby power supply and any signsof damage you can see---burnt parts etc.
3. almost all these sets the troubleshooting involves checking voltages on the main power board to narrow down theproblem.
4. Be safe and if you do not know what you are doing don't open the set.

Answers to issues:

1. RE:fuses---if a blown fuse is found get a good replacement(not the genericones like Radio Shack). Many fuses are special even aside from amperage--Don'tput a higher rated amperage fuse in the set for any reason.

2. RE: power supply in set: if total dead aside from main fuse the set uses astandby power supply that runs 7/24 and a main supply (some are combined andsome not.

Here aside from checking fuses you want to examine all the filter caps on thepower/standby to see if any are puffed up or buldged up in some fashion--Iattach a photo of a good one---top should be silver metal and PERFECTLY flatand have no brown material coming out on top or bottom.

What happens in the standby area is they use caps with too low a voltage rating(saves money) which causes them to fail in a year or two---the standby runs7/24 and the heat dries out the caps and they fail.

3. Trouble shooting consists of the above and then at some point you have to buyand try a board to see if it fixes it or not.

4. Safety first--no TV set is worth getting injured or even killed over.If set is opened at least look for puffed up and bad caps like in thisphoto.5_28_2012_3_09_48_pm.jpg5_28_2012_3_10_07_pm.jpg

I have an RCA DLP ,R56WH76, it wont' turn on period.

follow the power cord to where it plugs into the small AC filter board on the right side looking in the rear. Check the fuses on that board there is one but some versions of the ITC222 chassis has two fuses on that board.

What is the part # for the thermal fuse?

Fuse is located on the G board. (board part no : A-1316-566-A)

Here you can download service manual and part list.

See part list.Fuse and fuse clips are F6001 and FH6001, pn 1-576-193-11

Here you can find replacements, if you do not find your model in list call them at 1-866-925-PART (7278)

Here instead you can get parts directly from Sony.

Always unplug power one hour or more before working on your TV.
If you have not worked on TVs before call a technician.

Pioneer Pro-118 won't turn on

Take off back cover. The problem power board is to the right of the board where the power plug feeds into the TV. There is a large white fuse right bend the power plug. With a meter it read ok; about 8 inches deeper into the TV on that board was the resister next to two fuses. My 4 amp 125 volt fuse did not read on my meter. After replacing, it worked fine. Check all three fuses while you're in there.
