Delstar DS 4327 shows "disk empty" after downloading songs

I've downloaded songs like it told me to, and when from my computer I access my MP3 it will play the songs I downloaded, however after I safely disconnect and try to access the songs from the MP3 itself it states "disk empty". Its so frustrating...I've called the number listed at the end of the manual but they dont' answer.

I don't know how to download songs to my delstar mp3. how do i download songs from my computer to my mp3?

first, you plug your mp3 player into a unoccupied usb port on your computer. then, it should come up as a drive and you simply copy and paste your music onto said drive.
hope this helps ;-)

Cannot download music to a delstar 4327

Hook your USB cable into the device and into your computer. Your computer should acknowledge a new device. The easy way to move mp3 music is:
Click the START button on your desktop (bottom left)
Click COMPUTER or MY COMPUTER
Look for REMOVEABLE DISK and click it open
Look for a folder called MUSIC and click it open
Drag folders containing the music you want to listen to into the MUSIC folder.
Close.
SAFELY disconnect the device from computer.

I have the Delstar DS 4327 and everytime I load songs onto the MP3 player, it says "empty disk". When I look at it from My Computer it shows that there are songs on the MP3. Why is this? When I unplug the...

I had the same problem to start with but it got resolved.Too bad I'm not familiar with this technology and I don't know the correct terms to use to describe what I did but I will try. I have windows vista and I used my (windows media player) to download songs from cd and I bought a few songs from Amazon.com (I don't know if it makes a difference). When I ran the cd that came with the ds4327 I selected auto instead of manual. I tried to change to manual later but had no luck. When I sync my ds 4327 I can see on the player screen ...and?? at the same time but I leave it plugged in till the windows media player says:you can unplug device now.I had trouble to start with and my computer asked do you want windows to fix for you and I clicked on yes.It was late at night and I don't remember all of it.I hope this might help.I would suggest not giving up.I'm a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff and I just kept messing around with it.It works great now!!

Just to make sure...are you using supported file types? Do the files you are trying to use have DRM (digital rights management) on them that would prevent them from being used on other equipment? This means did you buy them online from a source like i-Tunes or Walmart. Try using a plain jane mp3. if you don't have one put a cd in your computer and rip it as mp3 files in window media player. Then try moving those files to the Delstar. Or try placing files it from another computer.
