Question about SmartParts (1DPFSP01) Digital Picture Frame
I have a smart parts frame that has displayed pic from my Canon SD550 and Kodak DX6490 just fine. Just got Nikon D90 and some of the pics show fine, others show as thin various colored vertical lines. Oddly when they come up they only show in the portrait direction never in the landscape direction. More oddly there are portrait pics that show just fine. Insert scratch of head here. If none showed at all I would just think it was a compatability issue. Any insight would be appreciated.
Ensure that neither the memory card or the frame have a lock on them that will disable the transfer of any files. If there is a lock it will allow you to browse through the directories but will not allow you to alter them in any way. Windows may also post a "right protection" error when trying to do so.

Use a "multi-meter" to measure the voltage and amperage output from the power-adapter.
If the values don't match the specifications on the adapter, replace the adapter.
Find a compatible power-adapter (maybe by going back to the store where you bought the SmartParts, taking your frame with you) and trying powering your SmartParts from that adapter.
If it still does not work, then exercise the WARRANTY on the device to get it repaired/replaced.
