There are three modes — standby mode, radio mode or CD mode. To enter CD mode, press the power button and then the CD button. To enter radio mode, press the power button and then the radio button. To enter standby mode, press the power button.
If you're in standby mode and press the time set button, the clock digits will blink. If they don't blink, you aren't in standby mode.

Why does my sandstrom S9DABI12 DAB radio power down after around 20 minutes operation. It is not the sleep setting.

The sticker on this one says:
"The latest Eco-friendly technology will switch the product to standby mode when the volume is close to mute or left idle for 20 minutes. The product can be reactivated by pressing the "Standby" button".

Not the greatest of ideas.

Getting the watch off military time back on to civilian.

I haven't been able to find Sharp watch instructions but if you follow my instructions below, you should be able to re-set your watch. Some experimenting may be required.

Press the mode button to cycle through the settings.

You should reach one that indicates "24"; press one of the other buttons to change it to "12".

Then press mode button to reach normal operation.

I have a 'relaxed nature sounds lcd clock' with no instructions

Moderately difficult, but not impossible. ;) I picked up this clock @ second hand store with no instructions and was able to figure it out how to set it in about 15 minutes. I liked the calendar feature on the face and the LCD (as opposed to LED because I prefer my bedroom dark when I sleep).
When setting this clock, one of the keys is to pay attention to the the icons displayed on the face toward the lower left. Default "MODE" is time set. To set the time: Press "SET" followed by either "HOUR" or "MIN" while the display is flashing to increment the hours and the minutes to the correct time. As previously state, the default "MODE" is time set.
Pressing "MODE" one time accesses a secondary clock that you might use if you regularly travel to another time zone (new icon w/ 2 clocks appears). Setting the secondary clock uses the same method above.
Pressing "MODE" a second time accesses the first alarm setting (alarm clock icon starts flashing). Same method to set.
Pressing "MODE" a third time accesses the secondary alarm setting (second alarm clock icon appears and begins flashing). Same method to set.
Pressing "MODE" a fourth time accesses a timer (hourglass icon appears). Same method to set.
Pressing "MODE" a fifth time allows you to set the calendar (calendar year appears where the digital clock display was). Press "SET" to change the date: "HOUR" increments the month; "MIN" increments the day; "MODE" increments the year. Press "SET" again to exit.
Pressing "MODE" a sixth time returns to the default time set mode.
I hope this helps someone! God's blessings in Jesus Christ! ~Thomas

Need instructions for setting a Sharp watch model # 2092

All the settings seem to go through the start/stop button. If you hold it down for 3 (not 2, not 4, but 3) seconds, it toggles in and out of "set the watch mode". You can tell you are in it because the seconds at the bottom go all blinky. Use (quick press) start/stop to move from seconds, to minutes, to hours, to year, to month, to day. Mode subtracts, reset adds. To set alarms, etc, first put the watch into Alarm Mode (Mode button, again).
Use the reset button to move to the selected alarm (1-5).
Hold the start/stop button for 3 seconds to toggle into "set the alarm mode".
Quick press of start/stop moves between things to set (kind of alarm, hours, minutes).
Mode subtracts, reset adds.
3 second hold of start/stop takes you out of setting mode.
