Dishwasher: upper tray rolls out everytime the door opens

I have tried adjusting the legs in the front but everytime I open my Viking built in dishwasher the upper tray rolls out. I cant find an adjust on the arm tray, that looks like it is in a fixed position. Thanks.

Just below dish loading door there is a panel. Remove screws (if applicable) to find tension adjustment. Turn screw to the left to loosen or opposite lifting door open or closed untill happy with tension. Some washers have no adjustment, I suggest opening door fully and pulling out bottom load tray, loading and then top tray or rack, pushing top in first then bottom rack. Use a glass fry pan cover or fry pan for weight on door while filling soap. Good luck, best regards

Extremely difficult to open dishwasher door

if this is the solution other things should also be difficult, closing the door, sliding the baskets etc, - your dishwasher does not have a frame in that it is not rigid if the base is not level then your dishwasher will be twisted and things will not align, on the bottom of the machine is adjustable legs, similar to a fridge, a spirit level on the top not only front to back and side to side but diagonal as well and adjust the legs hopefully fixes your problem

Kitchenaid Dishwasher keeps opening during cycle

Check to make sure that the legs are not adjusted too far up. This will push the dishwasher up so that it hits the bottom of your countertop and may not allow the dishwasher to close completely. The motion of the dishwasher may cause the door to reopen.

Asko door latch stuck

The only way is to pull out the dishwasher ,unhook the latch and then unscrew the door panel.your dishwasher is installed with 2 screws to the underside of your countertop. its tricky but youll have to remove them adjust to leveling legs down this will give you more room to get some head bit in ther to remove the screws if its out then slide the d/w foward ,remove the strike plate door will open then you can get your dishes out first

Cant open the door

Under the unit you can access the leveling mechanism for the legs. Try adjusting the levelers so the unit is lowered. Do so a little at a time and try to keep the unit leveled from left to right as you lower it. This may take tension off of the latch and help you get the door open.

Top Rack always slides out fully

Well, you are right on about the level. It is tilted just slightly forward. The only parts to go bad are the plastic ball bearing guides, and usually when they go, you get a rack that wont come out and gets jammed. You 've got the problem, you just need to remove the screws hidden in the holes that are sometimes coverd with rubber plugs so that the dishwasher may move freely, andjust it till it no longer rolls out, then screw it back to the counter to hold it in place. There are no springs in that rack, so either its still tilted forward, or the tank is bowed or bent somehow, and that would mean new dishwasher. Hope this helps!
