They aren't user servicable. For a complete repair, you'll have to send it in to the manufacturer to be fixed.

Water spill, mouse on the fritz

Hi there,
honestly, the only thing you can do, or have done, is to disassemble the laptop, get inside and look at the connectors and components. Sometimes the liquid causes corrosion, and some cleaning with alcohol can clean things up.

This is surely hardware, not an easy software fix.

Other times, cables or connectors can be replaced. I have had the keyboard go bad, the touchpad, the cables to the power strip by the power button, and even leak down into the ram, and corrode the ram contacts.

All were fixable, so it is possible. The key is to get deep inside and check out where the liquid flowed, and examine the parts. A good shop that knows laptops can help.

Main fan on dell dimension e521 on full blast when comp on

Do you have your PC in some sort of enclosed space with little ventilation? If so, the constant fan activity is your PC trying to keep things cool inside. With little ventilation comes great heat, and PCs like it cool.

Dell Dimension 2200

Some basic questions first: -Are you using the built-in sound card and are your speakers plugged into the green socket? -Did you plug your speakers into another computer to see if they work, if you didn?t how did you test them? -Have you checked the Sounds and audio devices in the control panel? Go to Start, Control Panel, and open Sounds and Audio Devices. Make sure the volume is up and the mute box IS NOT checked. If you?re using Windows XP Click on the Speaker Volume button and make sure the left and right speaker volumes are up. -What program are you trying to use to test the sound volume? Let us know if this solves your problem or if you need some more assistance.
