What model of computer are you using? If it's a Dell, I have a funny feeling it might just be that your disk drive is not turned on in the BIOS. Also, do you know the wattage of your power supply?

Iam using XFX Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT 512MB on my DELL Optiplex GX280.My graphic card was running fine about 4 months but now it is showing no display and my cpu fan shouts very much by putting this...

If the pc works the same when you boot in Safe Mode then the video card has failed - buy a new one.
If the pc works in Safe Mode then the video driver is corrupted - uninstall it then reboot normally then go here and download the latest available driver.

I have a acer x163w 13" monitor and I am trying to play call of duty 2 but keep getting the input not supported. How could I fix this problem so that I may play this game?

Call of Duty 2 Minimum System Requirements
3D hardware accelerator card required - 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible 64MB hardware accelerator video card and the latest drivers*
English version of Microsoft Windows 2000/XP
Pentium IV 1.4GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1700+ processor or higher
256MB RAM (512MB RAM recommended)
100% DirectX 9.0c compatible 16-bit sound card and latest drivers
100% Windows 2000/XP compatible mouse, keyboard and latest drivers
4.0GB of uncompressed free hard disk space (plus 600MB for Windows 2000/XP swap file)
8x speed CD-ROM or 2x DVD-ROM drive

Multi-player Requirements
Internet (TCP/IP) and LAN (TCP/IP) play supported
Internet play requires broadband connection and latest drivers
LAN play requires network interface card and latest drivers

Supported Chipsets
ATI Radeon 8500
ATI Radeon 9000
ATI Radeon 9200
ATI Radeon 9500
ATI Radeon 9600
ATI Radeon 9700

nVidia GeForce 2 Ultra
All nVidia GeForce 3/Ti Series
All nVidia GeForce 4/Ti Series
All nVidia GeForce FX Series
All nVidia GeForce 6 Series
**Recommend nVidia GeForce 7 Series or higher

Do your PC support the above hardware requirements?
The most common input no support would be your graphic card is not up to the mark to play the PC games.

Is your graphics card drivers up to date to the latest?
Have you updated your DirectX to the latest version?

Hope it helps.

It Works...

1. search "96.85_forceware_winvista_x86_international_whql" on Google
2. download the file.
3. Run the file and install (you will get FAIL message)
4. Go you "C:\NVIDIA\WinVista\96.85\"
5. OPEN "nv_disp.inf" file
6. ADD -> NVIDIA_BR02.DEV_0347.1% = nv_NV3x, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0347 on [Manufacturer] section
7. ADD -> NVIDIA_BR02.DEV_0347.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce Go5700" on Localizable Strings (Bottom of the file)
8. SAVE the file

You have Vista 64 bit right? I looked and the newest nvidia driver is 182.08 located here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_182.08_whql.html

1. Download this driver.
2. Go to the Control Panel, Programs and uninstall the current nvidia driver.
3. Shut down computer.
4. Remove video card and re-install it.
5. Start computer and install new nvidia driver.

Roll back the drivers to the original that worked and leave it there. Some times an update acts more like a downdate and screws things up. If your getting blue screens, its a hardware failure and is most likely do to the drivers just not being compatible with your system config.

You could also try updating the BIOS on the mainboard and see if that improves it.

I had alot of issues with ATI's catalyst on my last computer. the program kept causing problems so i removed catalyst and installed just the drivers and it worked great after that.
