Make sure you clean and dry the wall that you are sticking the shower head to. It is OK for water to touch the exterior, but not the interior. Also, make sure there is no cracking or degradation of the suction cup. Also, this is posted in the wrong section.

Suction cup does not stick to the base of the tom tom..Everytime I try to attach the suction cup, it just falls over. Help

  1. If you will stick the suction cup to your windshield make sure to clean it first use dry clothe and put pressure while rubbing it to the windshield.
  2. After cleaning it before you stick the suction cup to the windshield make sure the lock is release and then put a pressure and then while pressing it then that's the time you will lock it.

Bath tub/shower has no space for a grab bar to assist getting out of the tub. Back wall of the shower is nearly flush with edge of tub. Grab bar would stick out and be in the way. Is there some type of...

There are newer style suction cup type grab bars available at Walmart that are very effective and don't require a permanent installation to a wall. These are able to be mounted on shower/tub walls and can hold quite a bit of weight, when properly installed.

We did this in our house as my wife had leg surgery and needed these in order to get in and out of the shower and tub while recuperating.

They were a bargain and removable once she recovered, but you can leave them in place as long as you wish.

Give them a try, I think you'll find them very helpful.

Hope you found this info helpful and best regards!

Hi, Advice please, my shower when on hot comes normal out of the shower head but when water temperature normal it stream out of the bottom of the wall fitting, gainsborough shower 2 years old approx....

If you are taking about then neck of the shower head this is what you must do. its no need to turn the water off to the house or to the bathroom first you will need a pair of channel locks and some Teflon tape. first remove the shower head if you dont want to scar the nut on the shower head place cloth between the pliers and the fitting, once removed (very important) turn the channel locks upside down stick one side of the blue handle up in the neck of the shower and rotate to your left to loosen if you are having a leak leak there it should already be semi loose, once removed wrap the threads with the Teflon tape and re-insert making sure it is tight, then wrap the the outer end of the neck with Teflon tape and place the head back on.The reason it leaked is because the plumber who installed it did not tighten it up completly because he wanted it to look straight coming out of the wall and the additional water pressure causes it to leak wheras the hot water causes it to expand and seal

Windshield Mounting Unmounting

first the round plate... that has a sticky circle on the bottom.... you remove the tape and stick it on a surface where you want the gps... then when you want to mount the gps you suction cup it to that disk. now for the suction cup... when it is disengaged the plastic suction cup will be loose. to attach it to the plate or window... you swing the small arm on the base of it up or down... you will see as it will lock the suction... the gps should clip onto the holder so you can leave the holder where it is and remove the gps and slip it into your pocket.

Not the best instructions but you will get the idea

Cup holder is stuck down

stick your hands in the cup holder, press against the sidewalls of the cup holder and pull up, there are only 2 metal clips that hold the cup holder assembly in place, it will pop right out, once out check for things obstructing the cup holder lid or broken tracks, a new one is 90-115 bucks or about 20 at a junkyard, just went through this myself
