Crank, no start problem for a remote starter on a newer Honda is an immobilizer issue. Your immobilizer bypass needs to be reset.

2009 CRV cranks then immediately stalls out. Tried to press accelerator while cranking still same result.

Providing you have fuel to the engine and fire to the plugs. You need to do an exhaust check to see if the catalytic converter or muffler is plugged. If one of them are then the engine back pressure will keep the fuel from entering the cylinders and it won't start and run. Hope this helps.

2009 accord cold start

A Simple Preliminary Car Starting Procedure
If your car won't start, try this procedure:
  • Check the battery cable connections:
Make sure the positive cable, makes a good connection at the battery and at the starter. Make sure the negative cable makes a good ground connection at the battery and (preferably) at the engine.
  • Check the battery the simple way, like this:
Turn on the headlights, then try to start the car.If the headlights do not dim or go out, then the battery is likely ok.
  • Check the starter and solenoid:
If the wiring looks ok, then look at the starter solenoid for a good connection, and proper voltage at the starter(10 volts minimum while cranking).
If the starter spins and no crank, the problem is most likely the Solenoid's bendix gear is stuck.
Have someone hit (not too hard) the starter while you try to start the car. This usually works by dislodging a stuck bendix gear.

2009 jeep commandeer wont start, when I turn the key there is no sound, lights wont turn on and is that wasn't enough the key gets stuck in the ignition. any ideas?

it wont crank, no A/t car starts unless cranked first. (a key point)

fix head lights first. this is a feature in all cars.

that is SIMPLE and HOT all the time

they must work at all times and is the top way to diagnose

electric problems

you have a dead battery,.

only why remains.

i bet it cranks jumper cable started, call AAA or buy some cables.

or swap in a charged battery , or heck charge yours, buy a charger.

check fuses.

check battery lugs for green death?

check battery voltage. at 12.6vdc, if not charge the battery

if the battery continues to disgharge.

that is called phantom drains, or bad battery .

or the alternators is bad.(system)

once started the battery volts must be 13.3.to 15v, if not the charge system is bad ,(fuses, belts slipping and lots more possibles)

Pressure control solenoid on a 2005 diesel crv, will not turn over but runs just fine.

what does turn over mean/
1: I can crank the engine , that is the starter works ok.
2: the engine does not start and run,?
turn over means , NADA.
it cranks and starts.
or in rare cases cant crank but you push started car ok.

the runs fine, implies , you push starter car? or like me
park on hills, (too cheap to buy a good battery) grin? LOL

Intermittent starting problems in 2009 CRV

Being a brand new vehicle with full warranty, take it back to the dealer and make them fix it. If there is more than one dealer for your vehicle you can go to go to a different shop than the one you have been going. They save money if they can get you to keep it out of the shop till it is out of warranty that's just business. Make them do the warranty repair.

Problems Starting my 2009 Honda CRV

Your post interested me, as I just purchased the same vehicle lasts month. The grinding noise while attempting to start the CRV sounds like like a problem with the starter 'clashing ' with the flywheel. When you turn the key to start there is , a small gear in the starter on a shaft that advances (moves down the shaft) and meshes with the flywheel (which is a large 'gear'). When they mesh together, the starter gear will spin, and turn the flywheel, which 'cranks' the engine over to start. When a car is old, you can experience a loud grinding noise, as the wear and tear can cause the gears to clash, not mesh smoothly. Since this is an '09, that of course isn't a wear and tear issue, something was not tightened during assembly, or is defective. You MUST bring it to the dealer, to establish that there is a problem, even if they deny it. To continue to drive it could cause damage to components (actually driving it is probably ok, it's the starting it that will cause damage). So, insist that they check it out, you may be surprised by their desire to fix it, and have a happy customer to advertise their cooperation and quick fix of the problem. Hondas are great cars, hopefully this is a rare minor assembly or defective part glitch that will be quickly fixed. Keep me posted as to your visit to the dealer. Remember that you can bring it to any Honda dealer, although I would start with the one where I purchased it. The car is under warranty, get them to fix it, and enjoy your new car.
