It looks like you can obtain the owner's manual for your Kitchen Aid dishwasher through the Kitchen Aid web site. It will probably be a download option for a PDF version of the manual. This is the link: https://www.kitchenaid.com/customer-service/manuals/ . You will need to enter the model number of the dishwasher.

Note: When I obtain a downloaded PDF user manual (for anything), I create a file in my Documents folder, giving the file the name of the product, so I can find it easily. Example: Kitchen Aid Diswasher. Unless the manual is hundreds of pages long, I also print it out and keep it in a paper file folder with other appliance and equipment user manuals.

You do not give the make and model, however, in nearly all examples the user manual can be obtained from the manufacturer's web site. Failing that please post further info on the model.
