I would go to the Lexmark website and go to support and drivers and DL the driver for the operating system that you are using like Windows 98 or Win 2000 Win XP or Vista. Keep in mind that if you are using Vista it may not support this printer anymore. In the verbage that will be posted with the driver

I need to make the font just a little smaller

You do this in the program you are printing from. Highlight the text and find the Font size setting on the tool bar. Sometimes you can get it if you Right Click on the Highlighted text. Choose a smaller number.

How can I copy a letter off my I pad onto my Epson with out the type size too big. How can I make it smaller, so more characters will fit on an A4 page?

Open the letter in the tablet and look above it, there is a "FONT" size menu, it will be numbers, likely 4-38, right click and highlight the letter/document and then select a smaller number/size "FONT"

I need a 25-character product for microsoft 2007

Yes you do. Suggest use Magic JellyBean Keyfinder, and find the original product key code for the MS Office 2007 that was installed on your computer,

http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

Be aware that what you have may be a trial version. Expires after 30(?) days.

It is illegal to post a product key for MS Office. (Because in essence you would be stealing the software if you got a product key, illegally)

The product key code is installed on your computer, when MS Office is installed. What really happens is a hash value is assigned to your computer, that matches that product key.

It can't be duplicated,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_value

I would suggest you use OpenOffice instead.

1) Anything generated on a computer with MS Office, can be used on a computer with OpenOffice on it.

2) Anything generated on a computer with OpenOffice, can be used on a computer with MS Office.

3) IMHO there is No learning curve. The user interface is VERY similar to MS Office.

4) IT IS FREE

It is Open Source software.

If you have Microsoft Office, use Word.
If not I suggest using the free OpenOffice,

How do I get my hp deskjet 6940 to print labels. I'm trying to print Avery 5498 labels

You will have to use software to make the labels...like Microsoft Office Word, Open office Writer, or Microsoft Works. In MS Office Word (2003) go to tools->letters and mailings -> envelope and lables. Create the label you need.

If you use open office, go to File->New->Labels and create the label you need.

After which, you put the paper in the printer and print them out. May want to check out the size so you make sure it prints correctly.

-best of luck

MY X1240 will not print the text .

Did you run test page AFTER new cartridges installation?
Please print text from different programs: Noterpad, Wordpad, Office word, excell, Browser etc..
If you see text in some other program check settings in "text not printing" program : MSWord has a setting in Options blocking texts.
If you never see a text, check "Printer Preferences.." different from "Printer Properties.."
Let we know if fixed by scoring this solution or tell us results for any further support.

Printronix T5000r Label Syntax to print " character

It is a syntax error.

It should read:

D;POINT;075;095;12;6;"text"

You might be able to get away with this:

D;POINT;075;095;12;6;"test";"text"

quotes have to be in sets of two and elements have to be seperated by semicolons.
