Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console

Psp gone really slow

Psp gone slow and takes about 5 mins to load games then the games are slow to play the systems is slow as ever cant get on anything is there any upgrades that i can get to reset this the defualt system is doing nothing i think its made it worst cheers if any one can help thanks

    no already got memory stick in with 1/2 a gb this is not the problem sorry

Try getting a memory stick for it.. so then lots of the memory is free'd up

I was playing ff7: crisis core and I walked away from my game without pausing or turning it off. the gaem went to standby mode after a while, this has happened before so I wasn't worried usually the game...


sounds like a umd loading problem. this has happened to many psp owners in a variety of circumstances. go on the psp support section on playstation website and find information on this criteria. hopefully you can solve the problem with the steps given instead of having to do a warranty. ps my psp power cord stopped working...sucks for me, i cant get a warranty cuz i lost my receipt!

Very slow interface but no such problen when paying a game


This happens when you have a dirty psp game loaded, perhaps it needs cleaning? It can also happen if somehow the system files have become corrupted, if this is the case you must reinstall the PSP software or try updating it by connecting to the internet with your psp and going to the update function.

Slow reading in every files in the menu?


What Firware Do you have?
if you have Custom Firmware Hard turn off your psp and hold R whilst turning it on and in the recovery menu go to CPU speed, then change clock XMB back to default

Simply dead laser , search on ebay for the part and look for guides on google or service it to sony
