HOW DO i USE THE 16GB FLASHDRIVE?

Insert the drive into a USB port on your computer. Then it'll become a drive you can see in My Computer. After you see the drive you can copy files to it like any folder on your system. You may even create folders and child-folders on your USB drive to keep things organized.

Sounds like the F.A.T. (File Allocation Table) is bad on the drive. Try to format it and then copy everything back to it once again.

Storage issue LEXAR Firefly 4GB

Empty your "Recycle Bin", to permanently detect some "hidden" files on the JumpDrive.

If necessary, try a "quick-Format" to reformat the drive, deleting all "hidden" files.

How many directory deep is the file going that you are trying to save? I believe the maximum NTFS file (location + name) of file length can not exceed 256 characters total.

Example: C:\user\documents\file.exe is OK

But: C:\user\documents\folder\folder\folder\folder\folder\this folder name 230 charicters long\file.exe BAD

I deleted all the viewable files and folders on my lexar firefly jumpdrive, but it says that i still have almost all my memory used up. how can I clear it?

You may have hidden or locked files. If the files are locked, you'll see an icon to unlock them when you open the JumpDrive in Windows Explorer. If the files are hidden, try and show them: Tools-->Folder Options-->View--> Left Click "show hidden files and folders" Good Luck!

How do I use a Jump Drive?

You can transfer your data by copying to flash drive from the 1st computer and copy from the flashdrive to the 2-nd

I suggest yo but an ethernet cable between 2 pc-s, it's faster to copy data or what you need

Also you can buy a switch or a router to connect both computers

Error message 0x80070052

I tried setting up a new folder and transfering the files, this did not work either so I just purchased a new Jump drive. I had plenty of space remaining on the Lexar, however, my time was worth more than the cost of a new drive. I'll keep looking for "free solutions" to my problem and if I find the answer, I'll respond.

Please show me step by step on using the Lexar 2GB JumpDrive FireFly flash drive. I have an HP computer. I need to back up many photos. I will buy more of the same flash drives if I learn how to use them....

What operating system are you using? Should work with XP and Vista. Go to windows explorer and click on C drive, click photos folder, select required photo, click and drag icon to the Firefly icon and release mouse button. File should be copied to jump drive.

Error ox80070052 copying to sd card

I had this problem with the jump drive I am using in my digital frame. The drive has lots of open space, but not all the pictures will download on it, and i get the Ox80070052 error message.

I fixed it by re-formatting the jump drive. I moved all the files on the jump drive to a folder on my computer. Then i re-formatted the drive using a FAT 32 configuration. instead of a FAT configuration.

After the re-format, all the pictures transfer to the jump drive with ease.
