No,all small tvs CRT tubes analoge tvs design under 35" none of the tvs have a digital tuner inside of it tv Tuner signal board.Must get a signal through a Digital Converter box to recieve a free on AIR broadcating channels from a Digital broadcasting signal.Tvs that are analoge CRT tubes design that have a Digital Tuner design inside of it are only some DLP tvs analoge CRT tube design 40" and above have it only.
The fault you describes is due to low signal strength. If tuner of the said TV is faulty, this type of snow interference will occur too. Just check for good firm connection to its antenna terminal. If it is Ok, check the continuity of the cable used with antenna. Check the orientation of yagi antenna if used outside. If all are OK, and nothing help you, just replace its tuner with same type and number. Tuner is a small metal box type component can be seen soldered directly to the main printed circuit board inside. Usullay, its one terminal will come out as antenna IN of the TV, to which you connects the external antenna or cable. You must have a concept of soldering and desoldering to replace it, and must have a knoledge in electronics too. OK.
Yes. This model tv comes with an analog tuner so you need a digital to analog converter to receive most OTA stations. A few low-power stations are still broadcasting in some areas but those are not the primary stations serving your area.
Hi, The TV has an analog tuner only and so is not DTV ready. You will require a seperate set top box to receive digital programs with it. If you have brought the set recently it should have had an appropriate warning label on it. If not ,you may have some come back with the store which sold it.(depends on the country where purchased)
