Cd rom drivers for my zx6971 - Gateway Zx6971-Ub30p 23 Touch-Screen All-In-One Intel Ci3 4Gb 1Tb DV

Have you tried to use a straightened out paper clip to eject the disc. You should see a small hole next to the eject button on the disc drive, just push the paper clip in that and the drive door should open.

either way hdmi will be the easiest otherwise u have to buy a new cable for vga and go hdmi on tv

i have same computer.they do not have application for touch on thia version yet.they are working on it and when available you can download from gateway download tab.

do you have a dvd drive in your pc or is it a CD dirve?
is it built in or external drive? if external you may have to install drivers from a disk that came with it.
drivers are usually installed with drives, at factory or by disk after market. if you dvd is not made in the US or Canada it may not play on your pc. different format. without you telling us what happens with your dvd issue, we cannot guess or make probable solutions...more info in the future please

hello, for CD ROM you dont need the driver it is automaticaly recognize by the opreration system(windows,linux)

your drivers may have been corrupted or you might have a virus run your antivrus program
you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd-rom then plug them back in this should activate the found new hardware wizard or
you might have to uninstall then reinstall your DVD/CD or uninstall the driver then reinstall for this device
click start control panel admistrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd dvd rom drives right click you will see options to update driver,roll back driver,or
select properties you will have options under general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall

make sure that the cd rom is getting enough power test all leads that are attached to the cd rom including electical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or

first uninstall the drivers of CD-ROM and then again install the drivers you will see that it will play your CD.
If it doesn't play then check your CD-ROM jumper settings remove the pin and set it to slave mode.
