Question about Coby MP-C7085 MP3 Player

1 Answer

New keyboard problems.

I was given a new Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 for Xmas.
I have installed the software and it works when plugged in with the PC on, but when I turn off and restart, I just get a blank screen, saying cant find keyboard or fault.

On the box it says ''certified for Windows Vista''. I run Windows XP.

Could it not be compatible for my PC?

Thanks, Ron.

Hi, it works with any operating system, most likely the error your getting is because bios does not detect a keyboard, go into the setup / bios and turn on usb legacy support, this should let the computer detect the keyboard on boot up and get rid of the error message.

you will need to use another keyboard preferably one of those old styled round connector types (ps2 its called) to get into bios to adjust it.

Spacebar on my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 is sticking in the down position.

Take out the space bar button and change the position of the "sway bar" shown in http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/MS-Natural-Ergo-Keyboard-Sticky-Spacebar-Fix/index.html

There are 3 positions you can keep the sway bar - The middle positions worked for me and probably will work for you too.

Hi there !

The best way to clean or repair your keyboard is by removing all the screws at the back of the keyboard. And you can clean that chip board and all the buttons as well.
