Sound faint, fuzzy after dropping radio from nightstand
Yup, I'm clumsy. I knocked the clock radio off of the nightstand (about 18 inches off the floor) and now the sound is extremely faint and "fuzzed out," if I can hear it at all. Turning the volume knob doesn't seem to help at all. I think that I may have knocked a speaker wire loose, but I haven't opened it up yet to find out.

No solution I'm afraid! I have exactly the same problem! Did you work out how to fix it or what? This happened to our radio yesterday and I've pushed every button I can to try and sort it. I know the speaker works and is connected because I can hear a faint buzzing sound when the radio is switched on.
You will have to call Emerson customer support for this type of repair. What happened is the display circuits have been damaged in the fall. You can call the customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020 between the hours of 7am-5pm CT. Give them the make and model number of your Clock/Radio. Ask them where you can find a authorized service center in your area. Try to get a telephone number. Call the service center and ask them if they do out of warranty repairs. If they do tell them the problem you have had with the Clock/Radio. Ask them to give you a estimate of the cost including shipping and handling before having it repaired. This way you can judge whether it is worth it to repair the Clock/Radio or replace it. I hope this information help you with your problem.
