The printer prints fine on the main printer part but when I use the photo 4x6 printer the print quality is really bad. really wet, smudges all over. I cleaned it about 3 times and I just got this for christmas and nothing seems to work. I had a small easy share docket before and the print quality was excellent and the only reason I changed to the all in one is because I do alot scrapbooking. I'm not impressed with this printer at all! Please help me
Theres alot of possible reason why you're having those print out. In your case since your complaining about the ink being to wet.. check the paper that ur using is it a photo paper? is it inkjet compatible? did you use the same paper you used before? Possible that your Print Head is defective. Have you tried using the ITG(interavtice troubleshooting Guide) www.kodak.com/go/itg

Set the print quality to normal or best. Clean the printhead Run a calibration. The Kodak EasyShare AiO performs a calibration every time you install or replace a printhead. However, you can run a calibration if you are seeing changes in the image quality. Calibration aligns the printheads and performs a nozzle health check to enable high-quality prints. 1 Load the main tray or photo tray with photo paper. IMPORTANT: If you don't have any photo paper, you can use plain paper, but photo paper is highly recommended for calibrations. 2 Press and hold Photo and Cancel together to make a calibration print. 3 Follow the instructions on the calibration print to calibrate the printer.
Hi I would suggest you to try once again by putting the shiny side up and print it again, some time even if the pages get stick with each other than also the printer wont take paper in. so try one more time and do reply if you still have the same problem or nay other.
Kindly place the paper in the photo paper tray and then place a photo on the scanner glass of the paper and press copy.Correspondingly,if you are printing from computer make sure that you select 4X6 in the printing properties or preferences while printing the pictures.

Maybe your phototray is still engaged. If the green light by the photo tray is on - then it is engaged and you cannot print documents. Lift up the clear lid of the little photo tray, pull it back towards you until it clicks in place. The light will go off. Close the tray lid.
You should be able to print documents now. Make sure the document tray below the photo tray has paper in it.

Try to press the photo and copy at the same time it will print a diagnostic page
look how is the quality of the text.
if it prints very light or if it doesnt print open the access door and try to remove the ink cartridges and put it back again and make sure you hear a click sound after you put the cartridges back in and close the printer access door
try to print again a demo page press photo and copy and check if there is improvement
if no improvement open the kodak aio home center software click on the question mark(?) on the upper right corner and click on maintenance..then select printhead cleaning.After the printhead cleaning print again demo page (press photo and copy at the same time) if still no improvement on the quality of the text call the kodak hotline 1 800 421 6699..you might need a printhead replacement..
For this concern try pressing "copy+cancel" for media calibration then try again, make sure you have an A4 paper loaded. If this doesnt help you out try using the Kodak website www.kodak.com/go/itg and use "image quality" for class.
For all of those problems, you need to replace the Printhead. This is one of the most common issues among the Kodak All in One Printers, they simply stop printing text. However, it seems that Kodak is sending out some new printheads that work so much better, so you should get in contact with their support and have them replace their printheads. Call 1-800-421-6699.
